Dissonance
Resonance
True House Collective is the first project from Voystone Studio
Voystone Studio is a not-for-profit,
heart centred, artist-run initiative.
The founders have spent a lot of time together exploring all manner of creative thoughts, ideas and feelings on the pages of their notebooks...
EST. 2017
The benefits of note-making began to reveal themselves:
Enhanced Idea Generation
and Creative Processing
A Reliable Physical
Record of Time
Emotional Release and
Stress Reduction
An Increased Awareness
of Natural Rhythms
Ignited Curiosity
for Meaningful Inquiry
Personal Empowerment
and Self Care
All of this and much more…
Over time, the notebooks piled up. So the quest began when the questions landed…
What happens to these notes? Where do the notebooks go?
There were so many ideas expressed in the notebooks, far too many for two individuals to ever develop in a lifetime.
So…
What if the notes were shared?
This question evoked the idea to share our personal notebooks in an open-source publication.
The concept further evolved into an invitation for others to join in the sharing and receiving of raw notes. Thus True House Collective was conceived.
By sharing our notes with each other, we break free from the shell of ego and flow into harmonious co-creation.
Reconnect to the LiFi
Sharing our journey through life - in a tangible way - is much more fulfilling than posting snippets on social media platforms. Don’t worry about being disconnected from the Wifi, it’s the disconnection from LiFi that’s worrisome.
The soon-coming ‘collective publications’ will document the times and the creative journeys of those that participate. Knowledge and wisdom can be shared and messages can be sent in a way that celebrates the freedom of expression.
The key to our concept is, at all times, to rekindle reverence for our true house.
How?
Observe
Express
Reflect
We have developed the rhythmic concept of: Observe - Express - Reflect.
This formula nurtures our creativity into harmony with the natural rhythms of our true house - taking us on a voyage from dissonance within a synthetic system to resonance with the natural world around us and within.
We share this method with the participants of the collective note-making project. Sign up to journey with us from URL to IRL.
The principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis (THC) can enhance creativity and allow a more reflective process of observation to unfold into expression.
THC often played a key role in the founder’s note-making sessions. It’s coincidental that the cousin of cannabis - hemp, would reveal itself as the perfect alternative to tree-based paper for our notebooks! The project would not damage the environment but instead regenerate the land.
